Carting Race

So this weekend "moi avec mon amis" went to a carting race. Actually besides that it all was quite fascinating, we also went there to support our friend, who was participating in the race. It all took place here in Riga on a closed track.
Of course I just couldn't go there without a camera. Most of the pictures came out with same energy that was present on the track, so that's always a positive thing! :)
By the way it was a preliminary round, and another one will take place on track "333", which is an open track outside Riga. I'll be sure to have my camera with me. But the best is yet to come! Oh, and our friend came with the second best result out of of 80 contestants with only a couple of micro seconds away from the leader. Congrats!!!!

D Big Bird

Last week I went to the local zoo. Ofcourse I took my camera with me. So i saw this amazing bird, but unfortunatly I forget how it's called.

AM

As I have written before, I am interested in photography. This picture were taken in a studio with the help of the pro. I just adore how Annamaria (further- AM) can pose and act infront of the camera. Probably because she's a photographer her self:) We thought that it would be better to take pictures in black-&-white, because it reflects the light much deeper. The basic concept is just having FUN!!! We just tried to play with it,and that's what came out. I would be very glad to hear comments about it.

Presenting myself

This is my first time writing a blog. So, don’t judge too hard. My name is Daniella, I'm 20 years old, I live in Riga, Latvia. It's a small country located in Baltic states ( for those of you who don't know where it is, don’t worry u r not the only one) :) . I am originally from Russia, and probably i am going to move back there in a couple of years.So, I speak 4 languages: Russian, English, Latvian and un petit peu Français :))) I am very interested in photography, especially in taking pictures of human emotions. I even went through special courses, but it's not a big deal, as they say, it takes much more then just knowledge to be successful ;)) Also thanks to my grand mom I'm quite good at oil painting, even managed to sell one of my works. But it is just a hobby.

So who I am, and why you could read this blog:
I am a student of RISEBA (Riga international school of business administration),PR and advertising management, second course. I love animals, I have a cat named Merci, and now i want to buy a Pomeranian schpitz (they are so adorable!). I can’t swim...unfortunately. I am partly a vegetarian. I have a very good friend whose name is Annamaria (it is a very rare name here). I love fashion!!!!! But I am into politics also. I love to travel. Can’t imagine my life without music!!!
So, lets start this!
